Roomies and Driver's Training

I IS IN DRIVER'S TRAINING NAO, LULZ. And I completely fail. My first drive was last Friday, and I decided to be stupid and did a goddanged U-TURN in the middle of town. My instructor had the best WTF face I've ever seen, and my poor driving partner was mortified. The recommended amount of drives is 6, but he wants me to take an extra or two, because I fail that much. I got my permit today anyways, though
Anyways on a more serious note, the reason I have been extremely inactive lately is because a very close friend of mine, only three years older than me, has been living with me the past few weeks. She was having severe problems at home with her mother and her mother's boyfriend giving her nasty beatings, her sister getting life served on a silver platter and having to do nothing while my friend had to do everything around the house, and having all of her college money, medicade money, and child support money from her (awesome) dad being sucked away by her mother. She finally couldn't take it anymore, and left. The poor girl walked 12. Frecking. Miles... In the pouring rain to get to her boyfriend's place, who's just across the street from me. After two days, the school counselors thought it would be better if she stayed at a girlfriend's place. And thus we got her
She stayed for two weeks (living in our basement XD) then went to Detroit to be with her dad about a week and a half ago, but she'll be coming back up in a few weeks to crash with me for a while again. She might also have to stay here when the school year starts up again because she can't get her credits transferred down there for some reason. And it's crucial she has them, since she'll be a senior this year.
So being an only child for nearly 15 years, this has been kinda weird for me, since I'm not used to people being around this long. But having an older sister (I guess) has been an experience ^_^;
